I used to enjoy   lechon kawali  (crispy pork belly) as is.  But when my brother in law introduced me to pritchon, the this dish  became a staple in my party repertoire.  In fact it’s always a star during my parties.  Every one enjoys the fun of rolling their own mini wraps… and before you know it the whole platter is gone

Pritchon is a term combining the words prito or fried, and lechon or roasted pig.  It could be served as an appetizer or an entree itself.     But one thing is for sure, you will definitely enjoy every crunch as you bite. You will have pork nirvana so to speak. This post doesn’t need a recipe since you could use lechon (roast pig) or you could have this  lechon kawali as a template to make your own.  So all we need in order to make the wrap are:
Pritchon

Ingredients

  • Hoisin Sauce (diluted in water)
  • Flour Tortillas
  • Green onions

Instructions

  1. Chop the lechon into bite pieces and arrange them in a platter.
  2. You may ask everyone to assemble their own wrap by putting the chopped lechon then layer it with green onions and drizzle the hoisin sauce.
  3. Roll the wrap tightly and you're ready to be in pork heaven.
  4. You could serve it as an appetizer or entree. It's your choice.
  5. Enjoy.
