This week I cooked a dish that my mom requested, Afritada! I’m in Los Angeles and my mother is in the Philippines, so I spoke to her as I made this dish!
I’m new to cooking, and also new to cooking Filipino food, so I’m learning things like the amount of time it takes to cook vegetables… My bell peppers and potatoes could have been cooked longer.
But the pork saved the dish! Ang sarap!
